Fatuma is an experienced Social Worker advocating for girls’, women’s, disability and child’s rights. She has been in the child protection sector for 9 years supervising, managing, monitoring and evaluating child protection programs. A certified counselor and training expert on Child Protection, Skillful Parenting, Attachment and Positive Discipline, she works with youth on career guidance, reproductive health and life skills coaching. She holds an MA in Child Development and a BA in Social Work. Fatuma is the author of her project titled “Strengthening Parenting Practices to Prevent Violence against Children in Homes” submitted in partial fulfillment of her MA at University of Haifa, Israel and currently implemented in parenting programs.
